In those Days

In those days when one was still a novice in the world of computing and when many things were still blurred.
Sometimes I sit back and remember those days ... 

When I thought  something like example@something.com was a website,
When I thought Windows was the only existing Operating System,
When I thought I will spoil my computer if , I tried something new, 
When I thought Microsoft was the same thing as office,
When I thought connecting to a WiFi automatically means having internet connection,
When I thought typing without looking at the keyboard only happens in movies and on TV,
When I thought programming was a mystery ,
When I thought disassembling a machine means spoiling it
When I thought 1 GB of internet is so much data ,
When I thought 100 GB hard drive is enough for my machine ,
When I thought the man at the cyber was really geeky.

Many things happen and quite some of them seem to have a trend. Here are some predictions of some trends I have found.

If it continues at this rate ...

Cameroonians should be expecting 5G networks before ending 2016 because. 3G came in 2014 and 4g in 2015.
There shall be more churches than bars in the country.
He is going to win the 2018 elections with 85 % ( percentage always matches his age , 71% in 2004 and 78 in 2011 )
The list of successful candidates for competitive exams will be released before the exams are written.
We will be able to host the wold cup 2034. We hosted the women AFroBasket in 2015, we'll host the African Women Cup of Nations in 2016 and the AFCON in 2019.
Jesus will have to come back.
Facebook will end up buying Imo.
Even Bill Gates will end up buying an android phone.
Some countries will finally legalize the possibility of having more than One birth certificate
There will be no computer Engineering Staff in that faculty board of FET-Buea.
University Students shall pay a fee to log in some sites.
Foreigners will be applying for Tech jobs in Buea
Proficiency in playing Zuma will be a criterion for recruitment of secretaries.
Molyko Buea will be as hot as Douala
Electricity will be rationed. 24hrs for every two days.

When Tech guys Speak of Relationships

Crazy programmers always see their real life in the form of tech and cannot get rid of the words they use all the times.
Here is a conversation between two IT guys, Peter and Paul. Hope you understand what they mean.

Peter: Hello Paul, Do you have a subclass ?
Paul:  Nope I don't.
Peter: Why ? But have u made a request ?
Paul : Yes, but I got a 404. She said she did not appreciate the last time she was extended. That I may not be her type.
Peter: Then that subclass must have a strong filter. How can she give a 404 to a superclass like you.
Paul: Anyway, I will implement more methods before making the next request. What about you Peter , do u have a subclass ?
Peter: Yeah yeah , I do.
Paul: Waoh great. so how is the gui, Is she beautiful ?
Peter: The gui is marvelous. It's just like windows 8.
Paul: What about the previous subclass ?
Peter: She was a programmer.  Those subclass don't have enough time to take care of themselves. The gui was like that of  debian 6.
Paul: You are a worker. What do you do with the JS you earn ? You could get some plugins like shoes, hairs to suplement the interface.
Peter: I'll see that next time.
Paul: Then take care of that windows 8 sublass oh.  Do you usually visit her ?
Peter: yeah, I have to inspect element. I have to make sure that no other superclass has an explicit intent.
